How is this different from "PDF to Image" conversion?

"PDF to Image" captures each full page as an image. "Extract Images from PDF" pulls out only the photos, logos, and graphics embedded inside the PDF at their original quality.

Are all images extracted?

Most embedded image files are extracted. Very small images (under 50 px) such as icons or bullet markers are automatically skipped.

What is the quality of the extracted images?

Images are extracted at the original resolution stored in the PDF. No additional compression or resizing is applied.

Are my files sent to a server?

No. Everything is processed in your browser.

How many pages can be processed at once?

Up to 200 pages on desktop and 50 pages on mobile.

Are vector images (SVG) extracted?

Only bitmap images (JPG/PNG) embedded in the PDF are extracted. Vector shapes and text are not included.

Can password-protected PDFs be processed?

No. Password-protected PDFs cannot be processed. Remove the password first and try again.

What happens if the same image appears on multiple pages?

Duplicate images are extracted only once.

Can I extract images from a scanned PDF?

A scanned PDF treats each page as one large image, so extraction works but "PDF to Image" conversion is usually more practical.

Can I compress the extracted images?
