How does merging work?

Files are concatenated in order on a single timeline. The first file keeps its original timestamps. Subsequent files are offset to start after the previous file ends.

Can I adjust the gap between merged files?

Yes. The default gap is 1 second (1000ms). You can change it to match scene transitions or episode breaks.

Can I reorder files before merging?

Yes. Drag files to change the order, or use the "Sort by name" button.

How does splitting work?

Enter one or more time points (mm:ss). The subtitle is divided into separate files at those points, each keeping its original timestamps.

How do I enter split points?

Use mm:ss format. For example, enter "30:00" and "60:00" to split a file into three parts: 0-30 min, 30-60 min, and 60 min onward.

Can I merge different subtitle formats?

No. All files must be the same format (e.g., all SRT). Convert them first using the Subtitle Converter tool.

Are my files sent to a server?

No. Everything is processed in your browser. Files are never uploaded to any server and are released when you close the tab.

Is there a file count limit?

Up to 10 files on desktop and 5 on mobile. File size limit is 10MB (desktop) or 5MB (mobile) per file.

Does it handle Korean subtitles?

Yes. UTF-8 and CP949 (EUC-KR) encoding are auto-detected. You can also choose the output encoding.

Can I change the output format?

Yes. Choose SRT, VTT, or SMI as the output format regardless of the input format.
